Hi, I've got a blog on restoring a silhouette also http://re-buildingthedewdrop.blogspot.com/
I look forward to watching yours develop. Perhaps we could bounce ideas?
Rgds., Jim.
Thanks for the Good Luck Message phil - I'm beginning to think I might need it - Especially after taking a look at Jimbo's blog...
Interesting blog Jimbo - Looks like you miles ahead of me. I'm working outdoors so I thought I would work on the hull first before tackling the cabin and deck which are also looking a bit on the sorry side. Nice to see some of the original plans and literature etc for the Silhouette too....
Have you thought about knocking up a tent? I've just paid £7.99 for a 6mx3m Tarpaulin. A few of those and a bit of wooden framework would work out nicely. I got lucky with my shed. I'm in the Air Force so I managed to commendeer one of the storage yards which has a transparent roof too!
